Conceptual Approach to Integrating Mask R-CNN in Cable Cutting Inspection

Technological innovations, particularly Machine Vision (MV), have the potential to significantly enhance quality control in industrial operations. This paper explores the application of traditional MV in cable cutting inspection within the wire harness industry. While highlighting the advantages and challenges of the current system, this paper proposes a theoretical framework for integrating the Mask R-CNN model to improve accuracy and efficiency. This paper focuses on developing a theoretical framework for this integration, laying the groundwork for future research and practical implementations.
