A SEGURANÇA NA CONSTRUÇÃO CIVIL

The civil building has a large number of accidents, a figure that has been growing gradually. We note that the main factors for the occurrence of this fact comprises the turnover of workforce and the lack of culture of employees in the use and training of the correct use of PPE and EPCs. The solution to the decline of this index is to prevent the accident. The awareness through training, lectures, contests posters, etc are one of the determinants for the course of the work without the occurrence of physical harm to the employee services factors. From this perspective, the present study deals with the theme “Safety in Construction”. Thus, in the course of the analyzes was faced with the following question: What is the relevance of safety equipment be used? It is well known the great importance in properly use safety equipment to prevent accidents and to achieving a quality of life better in construction sites. Has the general objective of performing a literature about the safety at construction sites of the Civil Engineering sector, for, through specific goals, analyze how is the security process, which the ideal equipment and precautions to be taken; verify the use of PPE and EPCs in Civil Engineering; inform and illustrate the importance of work safety in construction, accident prevention and reduction of occupational diseases. To reach the predetermined goals, this study used scientific methodology descriptive literature, based on BOOKS, magazines and journals on the theme, describing the facts related to safety found at construction sites.
