Induction of natural organogenesis in succulent species under different growth conditions
Direct and indirect organogenesis depends largely on the type of explant, especially if they are juvenile and poorly differentiated explants, these will respond better to in situ or in vitro culture. The formation of shoots and adventitious buds is generally a challenge in tissue culture, resorting to creating stressful conditions or the use of plant hormones. However, if the above has been successful, the rooting phase can become complicated and it is necessary to use growth regulators. In this study, salt stress, nature of the substrate and relative humidity were evaluated as a whole as factors that intervene in the processes of shoot formation in succulent plants in the region, without making use of growth regulators with the aim of guaranteeing optimal conditions. that improve their reproduction for subsequent commercialization and/or conservation of the species.
