Pembinaan Etos dalam Komuniti Muslim: Perspektif Antropologi dan Sosiologi
The discourse on ethos and societal development, particularly in Muslim communities, emphasizes the significance of ethos in shaping social, economic, and cultural progress within a nation. This paper aims to analyze the application of Islamic values in constructing ethos and to assess the extent to which ethos influences societal and national development. A review of studies explores the integration of Islamic values into social, economic, and political dimensions to ensure identity, unity, and stability in addressing modern challenges. The discussion references studies from Southeast Asia and the Middle East, employing a sociological perspective that highlights the importance of social structures and an anthropological perspective focusing on cultural and religious interactions, particularly Islamic values. These values are intricately woven into social structures through cultural and religious interplay to promote national welfare. The findings demonstrate that a strong ethos rooted in Islamic values significantly accelerates national development, while weak ethos poses a barrier to progress. These results underscore critical implications for institutions and policymakers in devising development strategies that prioritize strengthening ethos infused with Islamic principles.
