Deep-Deploying Imagination in Creative Computer for Dependent System Design

Imagination is a fundamental element for creativity and innovation across multiple disciplines. However, existing frameworks often lack a structured approach to effectively integrate imagination into creative computing. This paper presents the Three-Tier Classification of Science (TTCS) framework, which categorises imagination into three types: sensory, epistemic, and collaborative. These categories are mapped to distinct disciplinary applications, such as natural sciences, arts, and interdisciplinary studies. The proposed framework introduces a deep-deploying strategy to embed these types of imagination into a modular system architecture, enhancing adaptive and responsive features necessary for dependent system design. Through deep integration of imagination-driven components, the TTCS framework supports dynamic user engagement and context-sensitive adjustments. The effectiveness of this approach is demonstrated via a prototype system for art design, where sensory and epistemic imagination enable detailed exploration, while collaborative imagination facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration. The proposed framework provides a structured pathway for creative computing applications and has potential implications for fields like engineering, social sciences, and computational modelling.
