IoT Based Epilepsy Monitoring Device for Children

This paper presents an IoT-based Epilepsy Monitoring Device designed to enhance the care and safety of children with epilepsy. The wearable device integrates a suite of biosensors, including PPG, gyroscope, GSR, GPS, and GSM modules, with the ESP32 microcontroller. Through real-time symptom detection, the device identifies epileptic episodes and promptly notifies caregivers via alert messages, including precise coordinates. Additionally, the device leverages the ThingSpeak IoT platform to track and analyze collected data, facilitating comprehensive monitoring and management of epilepsy in pediatric patients.
