Frequency and Time Shifting Strategies in Concurrent Transmission under LoRa Networks
The 6G wireless communication networks have an important role to play in meeting the demand for massive connections from IoT devices. This poses major challenges in terms of the efficiency and reliability of LPWAN networks, such as LoRa. LoRa technology has emerged as a promising solution for long-range, low-power communications, offering an efficient alternative for resource-constrained IoT devices. However, for its successful integration into the 6G ecosystem, it is crucial to address issues such as channel optimisation and minimising collisions in simultaneous transmissions. LoRa networks face the challenge of handling concurrent transmissions of IoT devices, which can affect network efficiency and packet delivery rate. To solve these problems, this study explores strategies involving carrier frequencies and time shifting, evaluating the performance in different scenarios, with the aim of improving channel capacity and reducing collisions. The results of this research will satisfy the high demand for massive IoT connections using concurrent LoRa transmissions, improving the efficiency of IoT networks by increasing the packet delivery rate in a LoRa IoT gateway.
