Microwave Sensor for Precise Temperature Detection in Phosphate Materials
This study presents a sensor design with a single notch resonating around 2 GHz, aimed at simulating the effect of phosphate temperature on the sensor's response. The sensor consists of a centrally positioned resonator coupled with two 50-ohm transmission lines, a configuration chosen to enhance sensitivity and selectivity to temperature changes. Simulated on a Rogers 5880 substrate with a thickness of 0.789 mm, the sensor resonates at a specific frequency, making it highly sensitive to phosphate temperature variations. Simulations were performed to assess the sensor's ability to determine phosphate temperatures ranging from 25°C to 60°C by measuring the frequency shift of unheated phosphate as a reference and comparing it to the shifts observed in heated samples. The results indicate a clear frequency shift corresponding to temperature changes, demonstrating the sensor's potential for accurate phosphate temperature measurement.
