READINESS FOR MOTHERHOOD IN WARTIME: PSYCHOLOGICAL AND SOCIO-CULTURAL ASPECTS

This article presents a theoretical analysis of the concept of readiness for motherhood in wartime, with a focus on the psychological, sociocultural, and psychosocial aspects of this phenomenon, which become particularly significant in the context of military conflicts and crisis situations. Specifically, the relationship between value orientations and readiness for motherhood is explored, as it is an important factor that determines not only women's personal beliefs but also their ability to adapt to new life conditions. The influence of sociocultural and emotional factors, which can alter women's psychological resilience during war, impacting their level of readiness for motherhood, is also taken into account. The article demonstrates that values, as general cultural and social principles, form the foundation for the development of individual value orientations, which, in turn, determine specific beliefs and behavioral attitudes of women. Value orientations influence women's decisions regarding motherhood, helping them find meaning and direction in crisis situations. The article also examines various interdisciplinary approaches, such as psychological, sociological, cultural, and philosophical, which provide a deeper understanding of the influence of sociocultural factors on readiness for motherhood. Each of these approaches offers a unique perspective for analysis, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the complex psychological processes that determine women's readiness for motherhood in wartime. The phenomenon of motherhood in this article is viewed as a multidimensional phenomenon, encompassing not only biological and social factors but also cultural and spiritual aspects. This approach is crucial for a deeper understanding of the mechanisms that form readiness for motherhood in difficult life circumstances, as well as for the development of theoretical and practical approaches in psychology, sociology, and social work. These approaches will support women in challenging social conditions and during wartime, particularly in providing psychological assistance and fostering resilience to stress in extreme situations.
