IMPLEMENTASI METODE PIECES PADA PERANCANGAN SISTEM OUTCOME BASED EDUCATION (OBE)

The curriculum is an important unit in a tertiary institution because it helps in carrying out learning process activities, with the existence of a new curriculum, namely the Outcome Based Education (OBE) curriculum, tertiary institutions have to make changes to the existing curriculum, but document management continues to this day. This means saving data and documents on a computer. Currently, specifically for monitoring products, documents need to be printed for distribution. These two things make it difficult for the academic community to access it. The design of this system will make monitoring documents simple, storing, searching and managing documents simply, updating or sharing with other parties and having security when accessed. In analysis, design and system development it is necessary to identify problems and solutions, as well as evaluate system conditions and design results are evaluated using the PIECES Framework using Unified Modeling Language (UML) Modeling. Based on the final results, it can be seen that the OBE Website design obtained better results for several evaluation components, namely information, control, security, performance, efficiency and service.
