New NHPP Software Reliability Model that Considers Composite Assumptions

Purpose: This study proposes a new type of NHPP software reliability model that considers both software dependent assumptions and operating environment uncertainty.BR/Methods: We derive the proposed NHPP software reliability model through differential equations and estimate its parameters by the LSE method by using real data.BR/Results: We demonstrate the superiority of the proposed model by comparing its fit with those of eight existing NHPP software reliability models on two datasets.BR/Conclusion: We have proposed a new type of NHPP software reliability model that performs multiple functions and assumes dependent failure assumptions and operating environment uncertainties to suit the complexity of existing software. It is expected to perform software failure prediction in various environments in the future software market.
