PELATIHAN INTERNET OF THINGS UNTUK GURU SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN (SMK) ALMADANI PONTIANAK

One of the objectives of Vocational High Schools (SMK) is to equip students with knowledge and skills in certain fields so that after graduating they can work in industry or become entrepreneurs. The role of teachers is very important to achieve this goal, so a teacher must master technological developments and educate students to have this knowledge and skills. One of the tasks of vocational colleges given by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology is to provide guidance for vocational high schools. Internet of Things (IoT) training for teachers of Almadani Pontianak vocational high schools as one form of vocational high school guidance is expected to improve and increase teacher knowledge and skills regarding the Internet of Things. This training will be held in two days. The materials to be presented are: Introduction to IoT, C language programming, LED and Button Applications, DHT11 and Ultra Sonic Sensor Applications, IoT via Blynk, IoT via Adafruitio, IoT via Thingspeak. From the training, participants were able to understand and practice the training materials well with an average pretest score of 43.5 and an average posttest of 88.
