Performance Optimization for STAR-RIS Aided Non-Line-of-Sight ISAC Systems
Integrated sensing and communications (ISAC) technology has gained prominence in wireless communication by integrating data transmission and sensing functionalities within wireless networks. This paper introduces a novel strategy for optimizing the performance of non-line-of-sight ISAC systems. The optimization problem is equivalently transformed by the weighted minimum mean square error model of the received signal, and we propose a five-stage hybrid optimization algorithm based on block coordinate descent (BCD) to solve this problem, which converts the problem into a convex form. Simulation results verify the effectiveness of the proposed five-stage hybrid BCD optimization algorithm.
