A New Location Method Based on Internet Satellite Beacon signal
The signal of GNSS reaching the earth's surface is relatively weak, easy to receive interference, and needs to invest a lot of infrastructure, and the beacon signal can effectively make up for this deficiency. Aiming at the limitations of coverage and availability of land-based opportunistic signals(broadcasting, digital television and mobile base stations, etc.), the Starlink satellite system is proposed to realize space-based opportunistic signal positioning. Through the in-depth study of the communication system of Starlink signal, the mathematical model of instantaneous Doppler positioning is established, and the method of ground terminal positioning is proposed by using the single tone signal of Starlink signal to obtain Doppler frequency information and combined with the satellite orbit information calculated by orbit prediction model. The simulation results show that the positioning accuracy better than 50m can be achieved by using the Starlink signal.
