Mebeverine Hydrochloride Analysis in Pharmaceutical Manufacture using a Novel RP HPLC Method
For mebeverine (MBV) hydrochloride detection and quantification, a straightforward, sensitive, selective, dependable, fast, and high-performance liquid chromatographic approach was created. The ODS2-C18 column [4.6 mm × 150 mm particle] and reversed phase were employed in the procedure. Potassium dihydrogen phosphate (v/v) and 0.02 M acetonitrile (PH 3.6 30:70) made up the mobile phase, and the flow rate was 1.0 ml/min. A UV detector was utilized to measure the wavelength at 240 nm. The linear limits of the concentrations were between 1 and 100 μg/ml, the relative standard deviation was 3.2%, and the retention time of mebeverine was 1.03 minutes. The results acquired were in good agreement with the substance that was declared. Mebeverine hydrochloride can be quantitatively analyzed using the suggested method, which is rapid, accurate, and selective. The approach was proven to be precise, dependable, and accurate for the identification and measurement of (MBV) hydrochloride in formulations, bulk pharmaceuticals, and raw materials. For the measurement of mebeverine in both its pure and a variety of pharmaceutical sectors, the RP-HPLC method was straightforward, precise, linear, and quick.
