Analysis of Student Activities in Tanwirullughoh Program on Arabic Communication Skills at UITM Shah Alam
This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Tanwirullughoh Program in enhancing the Arabic-speaking skills of LG242 students at UiTM Shah Alam The Tanwirullughoh Program, a mandatory weekly initiative, aims to foster an Arabic-speaking environment that nurtures students' vocabulary, speaking, and listening skills This study uses a qualitative approach with in-depth observation and interview methods. The findings reveal that the program effectively improves students' speaking skills through various innovative activities such as Arabic markets, "man ana" games, and memorising Arabic songs. However, the primary challenge lies in overcoming the low levels of student motivation and participation. To address these issues, the study suggests practical improvements, including the integration of additional learning media, extended discussion periods, and the introduction of online classes This study concludes that the Tanwirullughoh Program positively impacts students' speaking skills, but further efforts are needed to increase student motivation and participation. These findings provide valuable insights for the university in developing and improving language learning programs in the future.
