The significance of level density parameters in synthesizing superheavy nuclei within the range of 113≤Z≤120

This investigation explores the impact of different level density parameters on the evaporation-residue (ER) cross-sections of compound nuclei during heavy ion fusion reactions within the range of [Formula: see text]. The empirical method and proximity potential, along with consideration of deformed nuclei, were employed in these calculations. The resulting ER cross-sections are in good agreement with available experimental data. Our findings indicate that the model proposed by Nerlo-Pomorska et al. is more effective in reproducing experimental data for even–even nuclei, while the model proposed by Reisdorf is more accurate in calculating ER cross-sections for odd–odd and A-odd nuclei. Moreover, we used this model to investigate the probability of synthesizing experimentally unknown heavier systems with [Formula: see text], 120. Our results suggest four promising combinations to synthesize superheavy nuclei (SHN) with [Formula: see text]: (i) [Formula: see text] with the ER cross-section, [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]fb at the incident energy [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]MeV [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]MeV, (ii) [Formula: see text] with the ER cross-section, [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]fb at the incident energy [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]MeV [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]MeV, (iii) [Formula: see text] with ER cross-section [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]fb, at the incident energy [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]MeV [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]MeV and (iv) [Formula: see text] with ER cross-section, [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]fb, at the incident energy [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]MeV [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]MeV. Abstract

Furthermore, we found that the best combination to synthesize SHN with [Formula: see text] is [Formula: see text] with an ER cross-section of [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]fb at the incident energy [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]MeV [Formula: see text][Formula: see text]MeV.
