Development of an open source testing devices for fuel cell vehicles

Fuel cell vehicles (FCVs) represent a promising and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional internal combustion engine vehicles. However, the successful deployment and advancement of FCVs require comprehensive testing processes during maintenance and repair. This research presents the development of an open-source testing device for FCV hydrogen concentration in air measurements. The devices encompasses various components and functionalities to support the repair and maintenance procedures. Furthermore, this research explores the benefits of open-source development in the context of fuel cell testing equipment. It highlights how collaboration and knowledge sharing within the FCV community can accelerate innovation and drive improvements in fuel cell technology. The open-source nature promotes transparency and reproducibility, fostering a robust ecosystem of FCV research and development as well deployed fleet management.
