Resolution adjustable TDLAS tomography of axisymmetric flame temperature by using a single photodiode
A resolution adjustable TDLAS tomography method was proposed for axisymmetric flame imaging, and it has the merits of compactness and mechanical scanning-free. Two lasers at different wavelengths were broadened to be line light sources to pass through the flame and received by a single pixel detector after modulated by digital micro-mirror device. The distribution of integrated absorbance in different paths are reconstructed from the detector by a single pixel imaging method. Temperature distributions of axisymmetric flame are retrieved by using inverse Abel transform. Different imaging resolutions can be achieved adjustably and no hardware modifications is required. The efficacy of the proposed method was verified through simulations and experiments, and the reconstructed temperature images of axisymmetric flames are achieved as 23 × 23 and 47 × 47 resolutions for different resolutions.
