This article aims to delve into the research that has been carried out on service-learning in Spain from doctoral theses. To do this, after locating the state of the matter, a search has been carried out in the main database on doctoral theses (TESEO) from its appearance from 1976 to 2023, with the aim of viewing and analyzing the doctoral theses that have been published on this topic. have been carried out, investigating aspects such as their temporal distribution, the sex of the people who made them, the universities and departments, the educational level referred to in the doctoral thesis and the main themes. This analysis leads us to see the importance that research has acquired in this field of service-learning, especially in the university environment, as well as to identify the main lines of research that are being developed in this sense.
