THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AL-QALB IN SPIRITUAL INTELLIGENCE AND WORK PERFORMANCE IN ISLAM

This study aims to explain al-Ghazali's views on the relationship between spiritual intelligence based on al-Qalb (the heart) and work performance. In this context, al-Ghazali argues that to achieve high-quality work, an employee needs to have a strong al-Qalb (heart). Without it, the work results may not meet the desired objectives. The study uses a literature review methodology with a descriptive analytical approach to examine al-Ghazali's views and other sources supporting the concept of spiritual intelligence. The data obtained will be analyzed using content analysis techniques. The analysis results show that al-Ghazali emphasizes that spiritual intelligence, particularly through the role of al-Qalb (the heart), is key in shaping good and quality personal values. This concept underscores the importance of integrating both spiritual and professional aspects in a person's life. The relevance of al-Ghazali's model of spiritual intelligence lies in the close relationship between spiritual aspects and work performance. To achieve spiritual intelligence based on al-Qalb, one must apply the principles of tawhid accurately and comprehensively.

The relevance of al-Ghazali's model of spiritual intelligence lies in the close relationship between spiritual aspects and work performance.
