A Dual-Channels Photonic Crystal Fiber Sensor Based on Surface Plasmon Resonance Effect for Refractive Index Sensing

A dual-channels photonic crystal fiber (PCF) refractive index (RI) sensor based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) effect is proposed. The average and maximum wavelength sensitivity can be up to 8080 nm/RIU and 49500 nm/RIU, respectively.

Abstract

A dual-channels photonic crystal fiber (PCF) refractive index (RI) sensor based on surface plasmon resonance (SPR) effect is proposed. The average and maximum wavelength sensitivity can be up to 8080 nm/RIU and 49500 nm/RIU, respectively.
