Object Detection Utilizing Photonic Spiking Neuron Based on Passive Add-Drop Micro-Ring Resonator

This work proposes optical-assisted neuromorphic computing with passive add-drop micro-ring resonator. Our optical device mimics the leaky integrate-and-fire (LIF) model of bionic spiking neuron, enabling intelligent and rapid object detection.
