Research on the Sound Transmission Characteristics of Deep-Sea Surface Sound Channel Under Fluctuating Sea Surface
Under complex ocean conditions, the fluctuating sea surface can significantly affect the sound propagation in the deep-sea surface sound channel due to factors such as sea surface scattering and the anechoic effect of the bubble layer. In this paper, a sound field simulation model RAMsurf based on parabolic equation is used to obtain a prediction method for the sound field of the deep-sea surface sound channel under fluctuating sea surface conditions by applying the relevant corrections of the bubble layer at the sea surface. The wave distribution of the fluctuating sea surface is simulated by PM spectrum, and the simulation analysis of the acoustic transmission loss of the deep-sea surface acoustic channel is carried out under the conditions of different wind speeds, sound source frequencies and surface sound channel thicknesses. The results show that the fluctuating sea surface significantly increases the acoustic transmission loss of the surface sound channel and changes the structure of the sound field distribution.
