Low-Latency Routing Scheme for Burst Traffic in Power Communication Within F5G
With the development of network technology, the types and quantities of communication services carried by the Fifth Generation Fixed Networks (F5G) have been continuously increasing, placing higher demands on the capacity and transmission rates of F5G. When routing large volumes of services in F5G, it is often challenging to ensure various communication requirements, such as service latency, importance, and protection levels. Furthermore, during periods of high concurrent communication traffic, the insufficient bandwidth resources can lead to an increase in service blocking rates. This not only degrades the quality of communication but also causes a sharp rise in service blocking rates when burst traffic occurs in power communication networks, making it difficult to meet the latency requirements of services. Therefore, in the context of F5G carrying power communication services, we have designed a Joint Optimization based on Latency and Maximum Bandwidth Utilization (JO-LMBU) algorithm. Compared to benchmark algorithms, JO-LMBU effectively reduces the service blocking rate and decreases service latency during burst traffic.
