Optimized Frequency Offset Estimation Scheme Using Short Symbol Block Based on Training Sequence for Coherent Free-Space Optical Communication

For training sequence, a frequency offset estimation (FOE) optimization scheme using a single short symbol block is proposed to accomplish FOE. The results show that the residual FOE complexity is about 17% of FSTS.
