Study of the Attitudes and Interests of Students Studying Design in Bulgaria for Introducing Training in "Design Process Management Methods"

Modern teaching methods are essential in enhancing students' engagement and interest in their study subjects. In the current educational landscape, the approach to training in each discipline must be multifaceted. It begins with providing students with a strong theoretical foundation, introducing them to the essence and principles that underpin the subject. This includes mastering fundamental concepts and the development of skills necessary to perform effectively in applied environments relevant to their chosen fields. This article examines and analyzes the results of a survey conducted among students studying Design in Bulgaria. The purpose of the research is to determine the attitude and the need for studying "Methods for managing design processes" as a separate study discipline in Bulgarian universities providing education in design disciplines. The obtained results confirm the positive attitude of the students towards studying the proposed discipline, combined with modern teaching methods, which is a prerequisite for increasing the interest of the students and better realization of the labor market.
