Object Detection Technology of Substation Operation and Maintenance Based on Mixed Reality
The use of Mixed Reality (MR) technology in power substation operations and maintenance has greatly enhanced the efficiency of equipment inspections, fault diagnosis, and remote collaboration. With the help of augmented reality equipment and yolov8 target detection network, this paper applies the improved target detection algorithm to mixed reality, realizes the substation inspection method under augmented reality, and displays the recognition results of virtual and real fusion, which helps to improve the inspection efficiency of power inspection personnel. The map50 of the equipment in the substation is as high as 83.1%. The model runs at a speed of 213 frames, and can record and save the current inspection content in real time, which enhances the perception of operation and maintenance personnel on the scene and increases the efficiency of substation oversight.
