Design and Implementation of 24GHz FMCW Radar
The research on automobile anti-collision technology is developing rapidly. The research and application of the 24G millimeter wave radar system have become very extensive. Addressing the issue of potential error detection in radar target detection, this study enhances target detection accuracy and stability through two approaches. Firstly, the radar RF front-end design incorporates a combination of Transceiver Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit (MMIC) and frequency synthesizer to ensure the transmission of frequency modulated continuous wave (FMCW) with low phase noise. Secondly, the target detection algorithm involves calculating the kurtosis statistics of target points and evaluating their continuity. By analyzing kurtosis parameters and the continuity characteristics of target points, the ability to distinguish real targets from noise is improved, enhancing the stability and accuracy of target detection in complex environments. Overall, this study achieves better target detection performance.
