A Novel Smart Logistics Platform based on Decentralized Sensor Tags and Cloud Scheduling

Smart logistics represents efficiency improvement of industrial society and is widely studied and applied in the latest studies. Under this background, this study proposes a new smart logistics platform that enhances distributed sensor tags and cloud scheduling technology at the same time. The proposed framework involved has become a new method to improve the efficiency and accuracy of logistics operations. The proposed intelligent logistics platform consists of four essential parts: a disaster recovery system (DRS) with optimized design, a robust data center (DC), a stable communication network (CN), and a simplified system platform (SP). The central processing and storage facility for handling and storing logistics-related data is the data center. The communication network ensures reliable data transfer between multiple logistics nodes. Through its infrastructure, the system platform supports key logistics operations and ensures reliable and effective logistics management. In the event of frequent disruptions, the disaster recovery system provides the necessary assurance to maintain system continuity and data protection. The smart logistics platform involved uses distributed sensor tags within the framework of wireless sensor networks (WSN) to achieve real-time tracking and monitoring of logistics processes. Through experiments, it can be concluded that the proposed method not only improves the accuracy of inventory management, but also optimizes resource allocation and reduces operating costs, which improves the overall logistics efficiency to a certain extent.
