Impact of Typhoon Noise on the Detection Performance of Multi-Static Sonobuoy Array
In order to study the influence of typhoon environment on detection performance of multi-static sonobuoy system, this paper integrated the bi-static sonar Equation and probability fusion to construct a performance evaluation model for the multi-static sonobuoy array. By combing the wind-generated noise source level model with the typhoon induced underwater noise field model, the deep-sea environmental noise field influenced by the typhoon is theoretically simulated. In the end, based on the typhoon data and Marine environmental data in the real world, the influence of typhoon motion on the detection performance of multi-static system is simulated and evaluated. The simulation results show that the noise level in the vicinity of the multi-static system changes with the movement of the typhoon, and has a significant impact on the sonar detection performance.
