Research on Remote Annotation and Supervision for Mixed Reality
Mixed Reality (MR) technology provides an innovative remote assistance solution for power substation operation and maintenance by integrating virtual information with the real world. This paper mainly studies the remote assistance technology of power substation operation and maintenance based on augmented reality, including camera imaging, coordinate solving, virtual-real rendering and its specific application in power substation operation and maintenance. By analyzing the current research and specific applications, it is found that the application of augmented reality technology in remote assistance in power substation operation and maintenance not only improves the operation and maintenance efficiency, but also significantly improves the work safety. Finally, we discuss the future directions and challenges of this technology.
