Grid-Connected Microgrid Commitment Involving Demand Response and Energy Storage with Rule-Based Benefit Sharing
Demand response (DR) and energy storage (ES) can provide flexibility for power grid withstanding renewable energies' uncertainty. In the process of China's power market moving towards full deregulation, these flexible resources are typically allocated responsibilities and benefits based on rules, which have not been justified. Regarding this issue, multistage grid-connected microgrid commitment (GMC) involving demand response (DR), energy storage (ES), and the "two rules" benefit sharing policy is proposed. To enable effectiveness analysis of "two rules" policy in stimulate flexibility DR and ES, we convert the raw non-convex and non-linear GMC model into a mixed-integer programming model upon Big-M trick. Numerical studies justify that, the proposed model increases the economy of the whole system.
