Educational Study of Diverse Applications of EMR

The principle of operation and exploitation parameters of different electromechanical relays - automotive ones and general purpose industrial relays, are studied by means of an especially designed experimental bench. The relays are investigated provisioning diverse conditions - change of the controlled consumers and group operation of the relays. The preliminary measurements reported here show the effectiveness and the capabilities of the system. The presented development can be used in automotive service activities or educational process as an example of the application of modern technologies.
