Multi-Channel and Multi-Mode Waveguide Crossing Enabled by GRIN Meta-Lens

A compact five-channel dual-mode waveguide crossing is designed via gradient-index meta-lens. The insertion losses are 0.2-0.6 dB, and the crosstalks are less than −18 dB from 1500 to 1600 nm for all cases.
