Low-Complexity Bimodal Optical Processor for High-Speed IM/DD Systems

We propose a PIC-compatible, Bimodal Optical Processor for future high-speed IM/DD systems. An advanced ML optimizer selects tasks between optical equalization and chromatic dispersion compensation and refines parameters achieving superior performance over classical DSP methods.
