Design of A Flexible RFID Tag Antenna with High Tolerance in Bending States
Antenna design for flexible Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags is crucial due to the impact caused by different kinds of deformation in practical scenarios. In this paper, a special design of an antenna including a meandered semi-ring shape dipole and circular dielectric substrate is proposed, aiming to reduce the performance difference between orthometric deformation. After optimization of parameters by simulation, the antenna shows 0.17% frequency shift and 0.13% frequency shift when bending along the horizontal direction and vertical direction respectively, which indicates that this design has great potential to realize the RFID tag free of impact by different deformation.
