Oscillation Amplitude Measurement of Tuning Fork-Based Fiber Probes with Fabry-Perot Cavity

A Fabry-Perot cavity composed of the tuning fork-based fiber probe and an Au reflecting mirror is utilized to measure the tip amplitude in normal force scanning near-field optical microscope (SNOM). We establish a simulation model to analyze the amplitudes at three different positions, and measure the real amplitude under different excitation voltages.

Abstract

A Fabry-Perot cavity composed of the tuning fork-based fiber probe and an Au reflecting mirror is utilized to measure the tip amplitude in normal force scanning near-field optical microscope (SNOM). We establish a simulation model to analyze the amplitudes at three different positions, and measure the real amplitude under different excitation voltages.
