High-Precision and Flexible Optical Fiber Channel Modelling for 140 GBaud WDM System Using a Nonlinear Feature Decoupled Distributed Scheme

We propose a nonlinear feature decoupling distributed waveform modelling scheme. This method decouples SPM and XPM nonlinearities, achieving 34% reduction in NMSE and under 0.15 dB SNR error for 140 GBaud and 1200 km transmission.

Abstract

We propose a nonlinear feature decoupling distributed waveform modelling scheme. This method decouples SPM and XPM nonlinearities, achieving 34% reduction in NMSE and under 0.15 dB SNR error for 140 GBaud and 1200 km transmission.
