Minimizing Power Consumption in IPoWDM Networks with ZR/ZR+ Using Network Reconfiguration
We evaluate power consumption savings in IPoWDM networks with ZR/ZR+ using network reconfiguration with daily varying traffic profile. Although network reconfiguration with ZR+ is less effective than with long-haul muxponder, ZR+ is still more power-efficient.
