Co-Wavelength-Channel Integration of Ultra-Low-Frequency Distributed Acoustic Sensing and High-Capacity Communication
We experimentally demonstrate, for the first time, the co-wavelength-channel integration of ultra-low-frequency distributed-acoustic-sensing and high-capacity communication over a 38-km weakly-coupled-seven-core fiber, achieving a sensitivity of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$3.89-\mathrm{n}\varepsilon/\sqrt{\text{Hz}}$</tex> @0.1-Hz with 20-m spatial-resolution and a transmission capacity of 241.85-Tb/s.
