Low Carbon Economic Dispatch of Power System Based on Multi-point Grid Connection of Wind Farms
A low-carbon economic operation strategy is proposed for complex AC-DC distribution system formed by offshore grid, hydrogen energy system and receiving-end grid. This method can minimize operating cost and carbon emission of system under the uncertainty output of RES by using dispatchable region (DR) of offshore wind farms (OWFs) with hydrogen production (HP) and distributionally robust optimization (DRO). A method is proposed based on dynamic programming and computational geometry theory which can quantify the variable load regulation potential at the junction point under the output uncertainty of OWFs. Furthermore, a low carbon economic operation model for AC-DC distribution system with the lowest expected operation cost, maintenance and wind abandonment as the objective function is established. Finally, a study based on the IEEE 30-bus system with 11 nodes offshore grid demonstrate that the proposed method reduces the overall operating cost and carbon emissions.
