Microwave Photonic Multi-Channel Repeater in Satellite Communication

We propose a microwave photonic repeater for satellite communication, which can realize channel switching by only configuring waveshaper. Experiment shows the undesired signal rejection ratio (USRR) and spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) are 29.70 dB and 92.90 <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\text{dBm}/\text{Rz}^{2/3}$</tex>.

Abstract

We propose a microwave photonic repeater for satellite communication, which can realize channel switching by only configuring waveshaper. Experiment shows the undesired signal rejection ratio (USRR) and spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) are 29.70 dB and 92.90 <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\text{dBm}/\text{Rz}^{2/3}$</tex>.
