A Low Power BLE-Compatible Wake-Up Receiver Achieving -85-dBm Sensitivity

This article presents a wake-up receiver (WuRX) compatible with Bluetooth-Low-Energy(BLE). The wake-up receiver (WuRX) fabricated in a 55-nm CMOS process and operates from a 0.7-V supply. A WuRX with a gain-programmable amplifier (PGA) provides a gain range of 21dB. It achieves a sensitivity of -85dBm, while consuming 167uW via using passive circuits and poly phase filter (PPF).
