Decoupling Design of Dual-Band Dual-Polarization Shared-Aperture Antenna for 5G and U6G Applications
In this paper, the new dual-band shared-aperture base station antennas are proposed to solve the current antenna fusion needs of different frequency bands. The proposed antennas consist of a low-band (5G, 3.3-3.7 GHz) antenna and four high-band (U6G, 6.425-7.125 GHz) antennas. Due to the compact distance between the high-band antennas, the coupling between the high-band elements is enhanced, and the low-band antenna will also block the radiation pattern of the high-band antennas. The proposed decoupling structure designed in low-band antenna can effectively solve the above problems. The simulated results show that the isolations between the antenna elements in the high frequency band have been effectively improved, and the radiation patterns in the high frequency band have also been restored.
