Performance Analysis of Parallel Structures for Links Between Data Centers

We use a nonlinear frequency-dependent digitalto-analog converter model to study performance versus parallelization. We contrast shared and multiple sources, we quantify trade-offs in signal-to-noise ratio, phase noise, and distortion for 1.6 Tb/s at 28.7-115.3 Gbaud.

Abstract

We use a nonlinear frequency-dependent digitalto-analog converter model to study performance versus parallelization. We contrast shared and multiple sources, we quantify trade-offs in signal-to-noise ratio, phase noise, and distortion for 1.6 Tb/s at 28.7-115.3 Gbaud.
