Advanced Control Strategies for Wind Turbine Blade Pitch Optimization

This article presents the development of a mathematical model for the pitch angle control system of a wind turbine, aimed at optimizing its operation under varying wind speeds. The pitch angle of the blades is a critically important parameter that affects the efficiency of energy generation and the longevity of the equipment. The article thoroughly examines modeling approaches, including the use of linear and nonlinear approximations, as well as adaptive control methods based on feedback. Simulation conducted in the TIA Portal software environment allowed for the identification of optimal control system parameters, ensuring stable turbine operation under different wind loads. The research results demonstrate that the proposed model effectively reduces mechanical stress on the turbine and increases its overall efficiency.
