The Design of an Integrated Amplitude Equalizer in Silicon Photonics

We propose an integrated amplitude equalizer and prove its theoretical feasibility. The device consists of a Mach - Zender Interferer structure with a thermal phase shifter on one arm and a nonlinear optical loop mirror.
