Frequency-flow convolution empowered by high-speed thin-film lithium niobate modulators
Current optical convolution architectures face challenges like limited scalability, data redundancy, and restricted processing bandwidth. We demonstrate an optical frequency-flow convolution (OFFC) core utilizing high-speed thin-film lithium niobate (LN) modulators. Our implementation achieves convolution at an 8 GHz frequency spacing with a power consumption of just 52.9 mW.
