High Sensitive Refractive Index Sensor Based on Helical Long-Period Fiber Gratings Inscribed in Y-Shaped Triangular Core Fiber

We demonstrate a surrounding refractive index (SRI) sensor based on helical long-period fiber grating inscribed in Y-shaped triangular core fiber. The maximum SRI sensitivity is −9026 nm/RIU.
